When digital hanko is all you need, eHanko takes the lead.
eHanko presents your name in a circular design using classic Hanko-red, just like a physical Honko. The custom JPEG image is created by Name of Japan Master Designers, like all of our Hanko, physical or digital.
Your eHanko can be used in any way you can use a digital photo. For starters, you can print it or set your email app to auto-insert it as a signature, if your app supports JPEG. (Sample image at left) You can also add it to offline projects such as PowerPoint.
You can choose the characters you want (Katakana, Hiragana or Romanji-English). And, of course, there are no shipping charges; your JPEG file will be emailed to you upon completion. Please note that your order is only for a digital file, not a physical Hanko.
What about using it as a tattoo image? Yes, tattoo artists may accept digital files as the basis for their designs. Check with your artist for guidance. They typically use PNG (not JPEG). If you plan to have a tattoo, ask us about a PNG version.
