Introducing
You're hip. Bold. Confident. Determined to make your mark and make a difference.
Name of Japan salutes you with your own personal logo, Hip Hanko.
You've waited long enough. It's time to embrace the future of Japanese tradition. Your tradition. Your way.

Choosing Your Design
Our introductory Hip Hanko designs showing your own name, include four distinctive styles (shown below).
In no particular order they are (1) Katakana - Japanese characters used for foreign words, (2) Concentric circles, with the outer one in English ("Romanji" in Japanese) and the inner one in Katakana, (3) Serif - Romanji with the little tails on the ends of the letters and (4) Sans-serif - literally "without the tails."
Your choice should reflect your personality. Select 1 or 2 if you want the true Japanese style using their characters. Number 2 features the most complex and visually engaging design. Opt for 3 or 4 for English. Note: the serifs in 3 give the lettering a Japanese-like appearance, while 4 is a little easier to read.
No matter which you choose, our two owners, Tsukino and Chieko, will both participate in carving your Inkan (seal). They both hold national awards for Hanko Design Mastery and each has completed over 10,000 hanko. An extraordinary achievement by any measure. Hanko doesn't get any better than that.
Introductory Special: For a limited time, shipping will be FREE on Hip Hanko orders, including optional ink selections. Order now.

If Zen is your style, Sans Serif would honor your name with modern flair and Japanese artistry.
